Dorothy Quigley
Principal, Sidcup & Northfleet
Dorothy Quigley qualified from Kings College, London in 1987. She was chosen to work at Kings Hospital as a house surgeon in both restorative dentistry and oral surgery for the following year. Here she gained enormous experience which has enabled her to have a confident and professional approach to general practice. Dorothy takes great pride in her clinical ability and can recognise her own artistically placed restorations which have been carved and shaped to replace the original tooth anatomy. Every patient will have a gum disease check. Dorothy takes time and care to explain to her patients the significance of “pockets”. She is also experienced at treating nervous patients, putting them at their ease and converting them to regular patients.
Heather Matthews
Dentist, Sidcup
Heather graduated from the University of Liverpool in 1988. She has worked in a range of clinical practice settings in the Medway area and Bexleyheath, before joining our Sidcup practice in 2001. She is interested in dentures, children’s dentistry, routine maintenance and keeping up to date with continuing professional development by attending conferences and lectures. Outside of dentistry, she supports her family with their musical careers, plays the piano and keeps chickens.
Melanie Bernard
Dentist, Sidcup
Melanie joined the Sidcup practice in November 2022. She qualified from King’s College London Dental Institute with a Bachelor in Dental Surgery. Prior to this, she graduated with a Masters in Pharmacy from University College London. Being a dual-qualified Dentist and Pharmacist, she strives to provide the very best of care for her patients in a holistic manner. Her empathetic patient-centred approach allows her to ensure that their dental journey is as comfortable as possible. Outside of dentistry, Melanie is keen on fitness, enjoys dancing and is passionate about travelling.
Pinal Patel
Dentist, Sidcup
Pinal graduated in 2009 and has worked in general practice since. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry and believes in putting the patient first. He believes this can only be achieved by listening and trying to understand the patient’s needs as an individual. Pinal likes to keep up to date with the latest developments in dentistry through continued education and courses. He is looking to commence a postgraduate diploma to enhance his clinical skills so that he can provide the highest level of care for his patients.
Roshni Patel
Dentist, Northfleet
Roshni joined in December 2021. She graduated from the University of Bristol in 2016 and has a wealth of experience, especially in oral surgery.
Varsha Joshi
Dentist, Northfleet
Varsha has over 12 years’ experience in private dentistry and prides herself on her patient care. She believes in minimally invasive aesthetic dentistry which means every facet of the work she does is focused on protecting the health of the teeth whilst also creating beautiful smiles.
Varsha is currently doing a PG diploma in orthodontics and PG diploma in Aesthetic and Restorative dentistry. She enjoys working closely with patients from initial consultation through to final completion stage. She finds that having the chance to listen and understand the patients requirements and working with the patients through every step, means that the patient gets exactly what they want with a fantastic finish.
Varsha has completed various courses that have given her experience in all aspects of restorative and cosmetic dentistry including white fillings, crowns and bridgework, whitening and veneers. Varsha has qualifications in clear aligners with Invisalign and ClearCorrect and loves finishing a smile with composite bonding to give the ultimate finish to your smile.

Alina Smiltniekkiene joined the Quigley Dental Practice in September 2014.
Manjila Shrestha
Hygienist, Sidcup
Manjila joined us in October 2021, having graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene that year. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, she worked as a dental nurse in both NHS and private practice for five years and has enjoyed dentistry ever since.
Manjila is enthusiastic about her work and puts a great deal of focus on helping patients to improve their oral hygiene at home.
Justyna Michalik

Justyna joined our Northfleet practice in November 2021.
Tina Salmon
Practice manager, Sidcup & Northfleet
Tina Salmon started dental nursing in 1975, qualifying in 1998. She has been working at the Quigley Dental Practice since August, 1995, initially working as a nurse, before becoming practice manager in 2004. Tina is GDC registered. Tina likes to travel, gardening and enjoys spending time with her grandchildren.
Caprice Pinnock
Trainee nurse, Sidcup
Caprice joined the Sidcup practice in August 2022 as a trainee dental nurse. Caprice is always up for new experiences. She enjoys travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Arezu Taha
Nurse, Sidcup
Arezu qualified as a dental nurse in Denmark in 2006 and has worked in Denmark and Norway. She joined Quigley’s in 2019. In her spare time, she likes spending time with her family, reading and listening to music.
Eziafa Azuh
Nurse, Sidcup
Eziafa joined our Sidcup practice in May 2021 as a traineed dental nurse and gained her dental nurse qualification and GDC registration in May 2022.
Andreea Dumbraveanu
Nurse, Sidcup
Andreea came to England from Romania. Initially trained as a hairdresser, she decided on a career change and joined Quigley Dental as a trainee dental nurse in February 2020. Andrea is married and enjoys exercise and healthy living.
Shelley-Anne Hollands
Receptionist, Northfleet
Shelley-Anne worked for the Daily Mirror for 19 years as a Personal/Editorial Assistant on the Advice Page. She then worked as a Teaching Assistant at Orpington College obtaining her Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification. She joined Quigley’s in July 2011 as our part-time receptionist.
Ashley Hurt
Nurse, Northfleet
Ashley worked in our Sidcup practice from the age of sixteen and, after a time away, joined our Northfleet practice in September 2022. Ashley is a GDC registered dental nurse.
Laura Gregory-Farmes
Nurse and receptionist, Northfleet
Laura started her working life serving behind the bar at her parent’s establishment, before starting her dental nursing career in 2003 qualifying in 2015 with a dental diploma. She started with Quigley’s in 2015. In her spare time, she likes to go to the cinema, listen to music and spend time with her children, Rossi and Summer.
Helen Nicholson
Receptionist, Northfleet
Helen joined Quigley Dental Practice in May 2017. Before that, she had spent almost 25 years home schooling her four daughters. She also ran her own sewing business during that time.
When not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, walking in the local countryside and doing voluntary work.
Ravinder Saini
Nurse, Northfleet
Ravinder has worked in dental nursing since 2018 and joined the Quigley Dental Practice in 2021.
Nilu Thapa
Nurse, Northfleet
Nilkamal joined the Quigley Dental Practice in 2018. She has previously worked as a community care worker in Rochester and as a Gurkha welfare support worker in Maidstone. Nilu is a qualified GDC registered dental nurse.
